Chic Trend: Fascinators- Vintage Hair Accessory with a Modern Twist

Fascinators are fancy headpieces that are becoming popular in the United States. It has been said to have first been created in the 17th century, originated in Milan and were worn by high class/society women.These vintage accessories have recently been seen on many celebrities and is the perfect alternative to a hat. Very few can pull off the very dressy headpiece because its so fancy and elegant. They are usually seen on brides on their weeding day but now can be worn for any occassion! If not accessorized correctly you can look like someone who just has feathers on their head and a net over their face. They are usually made out of feathers, netting, beads, flowers but some of them have a more casual look. So there you go fashionistas...vintage, chic, and fancy. Ri Ri combined the look of a fascinator and a hat for a more casual look and also made sure her fascinator inspired accessory was seen by covering half her face with the netting. She wore the look during the primiere of the Jay Leno Show while performing Run This Town with Jay-Z and Kanye West.
